Our Region

 The Midi-Pyrenees / Lot Region:-

Our charming village Saint Projet is situated in the north of the Lot region, amongst the rugged terrain of the Causse. This area is celebrated for its purity of the air, its secret paths for walkers wishing to explore its natural beauty. The enchanted world of prehistoric caves and the Gouffre de Padirac awaits you. We are just 20 minutes drive from the Souillac Golf & Country Club. The interesting medieval town of Sarlat in the Dordogne region is only 35 minutes away from Saint Projet. Sarlat has plenty of shops and good restaurants and the old town is famous for its evening street theatre. There are thriving weekly markets in all the surrounding towns and during the summer season lively village fetes take place. You will soon realise that you are participating in the rural life of the Real France.

Gourdon / Saint Projet Area:-

The tranquil village of Saint Projet is just 9km from the medieval town of Gourdon, which has many restaurants, shops, cinema and it's own hospital. Be sure that you take time to visit the many places of interest in the lot region (we have many guide leaflets to assist you when planning your visits). In particular do visit Rocamadour the second most visited place in France, with the very famous Black Madonna. Then be sure to visit the capital city of the Lot region Cahors, famous for the Pont de Valentre and of course its wine and cheese.
